Inside, each of the six bedrooms is individually styled with soft neutral tones, classic furnishings and plenty of natural light. Each room also takes its name from a Champagne house and comes with original features such as sash windows, fireplaces and wooden floors. You reach them by the sweeping oak staircase at the heart of the house.

Keeping your guests on site means no end of night organising, no expensive cabs and no one rushing off after the first dance. Everyone can stay a little longer, knowing their bed is just upstairs and the residents’ bar is open 24 hours for overnight guests.

The next morning, guests gather for breakfast in the Cellar Bar, a relaxed “morning after” that lets you relive the day before waving farewell.
